The project entitled "Capacity Expansion at Mapack Ltd.", registration number GINOP_PLUSZ-1.2.4-25-2026-02349, is being implemented under the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme.
About the Beneficiary
Mapack Ltd. is a Hungarian-owned small enterprise founded in 2008 and based in Jászberény. Its main activity is the manufacture of plastic packaging products (NACE 22.22), alongside packaging, warehousing, cargo handling and related logistics services provided to its partners.
In the 2024 business year the company achieved annual net revenue of HUF 899,478,000, with an average statistical headcount of 15 employees. Mapack Ltd. operates on a stable financial footing and pursues continuous technological development in line with customer requirements.
Objective of the Development
The aim of the development is a comprehensive modernisation of the manufacturing and production support technology. The central element of the project is the procurement and commissioning of a high-performance, CNC-controlled flatbed laser cutting machine, enabling faster, more accurate and more economical machining.
Thanks to the investment, Mapack Ltd. is able to expand its production capacity, reduce its dependence on external subcontractors, and improve both delivery reliability and product quality.
As part of the project, a modern, energy-efficient compressor station is also being procured to provide a stable compressed air supply for the flatbed laser cutter and the existing production equipment. In addition, two cloud-based software solutions are being introduced to support production data tracking, process transparency and more efficient production planning.
Project Location
The primary implementation site of the project is the industrial property at Fémnyomó utca 1, 5100 Jászberény, Hungary (land registry no. 8702/6).
Expected Results
As a result of the development, Mapack Ltd. is able to create a more competitive, modern and efficient production environment, contributing in the long term to the growth of the company, a higher standard of service, and a stronger economic role in the region.
The project is implemented with European Union funding under the call "Support for Micro and Small Enterprises in the Most Disadvantaged Regions and in Free Enterprise Zones", code GINOP_PLUSZ-1.2.4-25, within the Széchenyi Plan Plus programme.
